As true Kiwis, environmental concern is an important part of the culture at Spring
- Wide range of energy efficient, compressor driven units are supplied and recommended
- Green payment systems - email invoicing and digital payment options including Direct Debit, Secure Phone Payment for credit cards, Secure Online Payment via PayPal & Flo2Cash, and of course Internet Banking
- 15 Litre bottles are sterilised and reused saving 30 standard 500ml water bottles every time
- We have installed a solar panel hot water system on the roof of our new eco premise
- Vehicles are tuned and serviced regularly with regular tyre pressure checks
- Spring operate a fuel saving load management system
- Navman units installed in fleet to reduced petrol use by providing most efficient route and closest vehicle response – also increasing service quality to our customers
- Power down computers and turn off lights at night
- Investment in green technologies – ENERGY STAR qualified appliances, computer monitors, power save light bulbs etc
- Reduction of paper waste - upgraded computer systems to enable the digitisation of paper forms and records
- Use of only Forest Stewardship Council certified and recycled office paper
- Operate a free drop off service for old water coolers, broken down on site to salvage recyclable components
- Shredded paper waste handed on to local pet stores for reuse
- Plastic cups handed on to child care centres for reuse in arts and crafts
